As the Collaborator-in-Chief at TVCLabs, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and fostering the growth of many promising tech startups in Africa. Our MentorPitch program which kicked off in 2021 and is now gearing up for its 7th cohort in February, stands testament to this journey of nurturing and growth.
Last year, with MentorPitch 5 & 6, we reached a pivotal milestone with ten dynamic tech startups that embarked on a transformative journey under the guidance of seasoned mentors. These startups were not just given financial support; they were equipped with strategic insights, operational know-how, and the invaluable experience of mentors, some of whom have navigated similar paths.

MentorPitch is more than a pre-acceleration program. It’s a crucible where nascent startup potential is honed and refined.
